KONTROL TECHNOLOGIES SELECTED BY NEW CITY CUSTOMER TO DELIVER DECARBONIZATION AND NET ZERO EMISSION DESIGN FOR MULTIPLE BUILDINGS; 10TH NET ZERO EMISSION RFP WIN FOR THE COMPANY

Kontrol Technologies Corp. has been selected by a new city customer to deliver decarbonization and net-zero emission designs for multiple buildings. Kontrol won the new customer through a competitive bid process. This represents the 10th RFP (request for proposal) win for the company in 2023, as it continues to scale its revenues and solutions for the transition to net-zero emissions.

Continued success in the public sector

"In addition to the millions of dollars in initial revenues, derived from our continued RFP wins, we have the opportunity to scale these revenues with our customers through multiple avenues," says Paul Ghezzi, chief executive officer of Kontrol Technologies. "The initial design revenue has the potential to grow into design-build revenues, which represent larger revenue opportunities for each building. We are very pleased with our continued success in the public sector, and we are well positioned to grow our revenues as we help our customers transition to net-zero emissions."

The new customer is a city in the province of Ontario and, for industry competitive purposes, will not be named.

"In addition to our success in growing our net-zero customer base and revenues, we are also adding growth in our emissions business with opportunities driven by new regulations in the U.S. around industrial emissions," continues Mr. Ghezzi.

The company continues to execute on its strategic plans for 2023, which include growing high-margin revenues, adding recurring revenues and driving bottom-line performance while reducing debt.
