KERMODE TERMINATES FOUR PROPERTY OPTIONS

Kermode Resources Ltd. has terminated its property purchase option agreements respecting its Khrysos/Silver Bell, Eastgate (British Columbia), Vigh and Lightning Peak properties due to its inability to finance further work on them. Kermode has not completed the staged payments owing toward any of these property options, so it will not retain an interest in any of the projects.

Chief executive officer Peter Bell commented, "I am grateful to Aurum Vena Resources Co. and our other property vendors for bringing these projects to Kermode and giving us a chance to investigate them because an important factor for success going forward will be our ability to source bullish property deals."
