KERMODE RESOURCES LTD. ANNOUNCES DIRECTOR CHANGE

Kermode Resources Ltd. has appointed Ryan Hounjet to its board of directors and as chair of its audit committee.

Mr. Hounjet is an experienced entrepreneur and capital markets adviser with a focus on building start-ups, corporate development, investor relations and corporate finance in both the Canadian and U.S. public markets. Mr. Hounjet worked on the Scotiabank commercial banking team from 2019 to 2022, specializing in commercial lending and providing complex capital solutions tailored for his clients' needs while building deep, trusting relationships. Mr. Hounjet then moved into the public markets with Univest Securities (Canada) in early 2022 to help launch and develop its Vancouver office. Through Univest, Mr. Hounjet has advised various private companies on capital market solutions and provided guidance on public listings on both the Canadian Securities Exchange and the Nasdaq Stock Market. Mr. Hounjet currently serves as chief executive officer and as a director of Amaya Big Sky Capital Corp. and as a director at Veji Holdings Inc. Mr. Hounjet earned his BSc with a major in biochemistry from the University of British Columbia and holds the chartered financial analyst designation.

Mr. Hounjet replaces Tek Manhas on the board and as chair of the company's audit committee. The company would like to thank Mr. Manhas for his contributions to the company and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
