KERMODE REPORTS ASSAYS FOR GRAVITY CONCENTRATES FROM LIGHTNING PEAK PROJECT
Kermode Resources Ltd. has released the results of gravity concentrate test work from samples
collected at the Lightning Peak project in British Columbia.
The samples comprise 18.1 kilograms of material at the Peak Au showing from a pile of mine
waste at the following co-ordinates: 388587 easting and 5529004 northing (zone 10N). The
samples were passed through a jaw crusher, then through a hammer mill and screened
with the oversize fraction being put through the hammer mill again, and then through a
Keene Engineering ST-1 shaker table to create tailings, middlings and concentrates.
Kermode assayed the tailings, middlings, concentrates and a control sample that was
not concentrated. Milo Mielniczuk, who optioned the project to Kermode, collected
and processed the samples in July, 2024, at his work yard by Cherryville, B.C.
The calculated head grade from the concentrate test work is 4.3 parts per million gold and 75.8 parts per million silver. Kermode also collected additional samples of similar material, which were
previously reported on July 19, 2024, where the average of three samples from the Peak
Au showing returned grades of 12 parts per million gold and 190 parts per million silver. The dump pile at the Peak
Au mine working includes galena-rich and pyrite-rich quartz vein material.
Assays were completed by Activation Laboratories Ltd. in Kamloops, B.C. The gold and
silver results were done by fire assay with gravimetric finish. Assays for sulphur and
other elements were completed by aqua regia ICP-OES, which shows low levels of
arsenic and mercury.
Kermode has a multiyear, area-based exploration permit for the Lightning Peak project
that allows for three trenching sites and five drill pads. In the future, Kermode intends to
complete mineralogical testing to determine the type of gold mineralization present.
