KERMODE ABANDONS LOI FOR PROJECTS ON VANCOUVER ISLAND

Kermode Resources Ltd. has abandoned three non-binding letters of intent (LOIs) to acquire projects on Vancouver Island, including the Marchand Creek LOI announced Sept. 16, 2022, the Black Bear LOI announced Aug. 10, 2022, and the Copper King LOI announced Aug. 4, 2022.

Peter Bell, chief executive officer, comments: "I am grateful to our partners for bringing these projects to Kermode and giving us a chance to investigate them because an important factor for success going forward will be our ability to source bullish property deals. Each of these three LOIs had greater challenges with access than we anticipated, which is the primary reason we are not advancing these deals further."
