KERMODE ANNOUNCES CHANGES TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Kermode Resources Ltd. has appointed Tek Manhas to the board of directors effective immediately, subject to regulatory approval, and Milosz Mielniczuk has resigned from the board.

Chief executive officer Peter Bell comments: "Thanks Milo for serving on the board. I look forward to working with you again. And welcome Tek!"

Mr. Manhas operates a retail business and is a partner in a commercial property in the Cowichan Valley, where he has been a lifelong resident. Mr. Manhas is also serving his second term as a municipal councilor with the district of North Cowichan. Mr. Manhas will serve as an independent director on the audit committee. The independent director Maxime Lepine will continue to be the chair of the audit committee.
