KERMODE GRANTS CHARITABLE STOCK OPTIONS

Kermode Resources Ltd. has granted 1,196,301 charitable stock options to The Singh Foundation exercisable at a price of five cents per share for a period of five years from the date of grant. The charitable options have been granted in accordance with the company's stock option plan.

The Singh Foundation is a registered non-profit charitable society.

Peter Bell comments: "Imagine if the junior mining business in Canada did more charitable donations and charitable flow-through financings. When the mining business is at its best, it helps people live better lives. It's amazing to me that the TSX-V allows companies to issue options up to 1 per cent in addition to their stock option plan, but few companies do this on a routine basis like I have done with Kermode here. What next?"
