The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Oct. 20, edition that CIBC World Markets energy infrastructure analyst Robert Catellier has lowered his recommendation for Keyera to "neutral" from "outperformer." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Catellier has an unchanged $33 share target. Analysts on average target the shares at $35.52. The Globe notes that Mr. Catellier issued his rating downgraded ahead of Keyera's third quarter earnings release. Mr. Catellier says in a note: "Our downgrade on Keyera is strictly driven by our return to target, based on a strong performance year to date. Fundamentals remains strong, with a good free cash flow profile and manageable leverage." The Globe reported on Feb. 18, 2022, that Mr. Catellier elevated Keyera to "outperformer" from "neutral." The shares could then be had for $30.36. The Globe reported on March 30, 2023, and April 22, 2023, that Canaccord rated Keyera "buy" and "hold." Canaccord said it issued its "hold" in response to Keyera's "outsized gains in 2023." The shares were then worth $29.48 and $32.06. The Globe's regular guest columnist Gordon Pape recommended buying Keyera on Aug. 24, 2023, when it could be had for $33.03.
