The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, May 1, edition that Desjardins Securities analyst Brent Stadler has reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Innergex Renewable Energy. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Stadler trimmed his share target by a loonie to $13. Analysts on average target the shares at $10.90. Mr. Stadler says in a note: "We expect Innergex Renewable Energy to provide some colour around upcoming RFPs, as well as a positive update on construction progress at the large Boswell Springs wind project. We see solid upside as weather patterns potentially transition from El Nino, which should bring more favourable weather." The Globe reported on Jan. 30 that Mr. Stadler had reiterated his "buy" recommendation for Innergex Renewable when it was going for $9.06. The Globe reported on April 4 that National Bank analyst Rupert Merer had reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Innergex Renewable. In the item, Mr. Merer said Innergex Renewable was one of his top picks. The shares could then be had for $8.13.
