The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Jan. 23, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Mohamed Sidibe, following the release of Iamgold's 2026 outlook on Monday, raised his share target to $34 from $28 with an unchanged "outperform" recommendation, believing the Street does not properly value the potential of its Cote-Gosselin "Super Pit." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $25.41. Mr. Sidibe says in a note, "As production, free cash flow generation and NAV exposure continue to shift more heavily toward Canada, we see a more straightforward path for the stock to rerate toward higher-quality jurisdictional peers." The Globe reported on Sept. 25 and Dec. 10 that Mr. Sidibe continued to rank Iamgold "outperform." It was then worth $16.29 and $21.35.
