TORONTO, Sept. 29, 2026 /CNW/ -- Mackenzie Investments ("Mackenzie") today announced changes to the investment strategies of Mackenzie Bluewater Canadian Growth Balanced Fund and Mackenzie Canadian Value Balanced Fund (formerly Mackenzie Cundill Canadian Balanced Fund), and changes to the risk ratings of select mutual funds.
Investment strategies changes
The investment strategies of Mackenzie Bluewater Canadian Growth Balanced Fund and Mackenzie Canadian Value Balanced Fund have each been updated to increase the maximum percentage of foreign securities to 49%. This is being done to allow the Funds to include additional global investment opportunities that support their respective investment objectives. The changes are effective September 29, 2026.
There are no changes to the Funds' investment objectives, investment philosophy, process or portfolio management approach.
Risk rating changes
Mackenzie reviews and adjusts risk ratings in accordance with the Risk Classification Methodology prescribed by Canadian securities regulators. As a result of this review, the risk rating of the following mutual funds will change as outlined below, effective September 29, 2026. There are no changes to the investment strategy of these mutual funds.
