WINNIPEG, MB, Sept. 8, 2026 /CNW/ -- IG Wealth Management ("IG") today announced a fund merger and a sub-advisor change, reinforcing the firm's ongoing commitment to continually reviewing and enhancing its product shelf.
Notice Merger
Effective on or about November 13, 2026, the IG Income Portfolio – Growth will be merged into IG Income Portfolio – Growth Plus.
The merger is intended to streamline IG's product shelf by reducing duplication, improving long-term performance potential and making the product shelf easier to navigate.
No action is required by investors. Investors will receive at least 60 days' notice with details regarding the merger.
The IG Independent Review Committee has reviewed the proposed merger and determined that, if implemented, it would achieve a fair and reasonable result for the fund.
Sub-Advisor Change
Effective on or about November 2, 2026, 1832 Asset Management L.P. (Dynamic) will no longer act as sub-advisor to the International Large Cap Core Mandate (the "Mandate") of the iProfile International Equity Private Pool (the "Pool"). Assets will be reallocated among the remaining managers of the Mandate.
This change maintains diversification while simplifying the overall Pool structure and further strengthening the Pool's manager lineup.
Investors are not required to take any action as a result of this change.
There will be no changes to the Pool's investment objectives or to its investment risk rating.
