THREED CAPITAL INC. RELEASES RESULTS FOR THE THREE MONTHS ENDED SEPTEMBER 30, 2023

ThreeD Capital Inc. has released its unaudited results as at and for the three months ended Sept. 30, 2023.

As at Sept. 30, 2023, the company had cash, investments and digital assets of $47.8-million.

As at Sept. 30, 2023, net asset value per share was 91 cents, as compared with 79 cents as at June 30, 2023.

Financial highlights for the three months ending Sept. 30, 2023, with comparatives, are provided in the attached tables.

Sheldon Inwentash, chairman and chief executive officer, stated: "Over the past year, the company has entered into strategic digital asset investments that are now beginning to show early signs of success. Digital assets now account for a significant portion of ThreeD's portfolio, which we believe will help facilitate and accelerate the company's growth objectives. While uncertainty and volatility continue to plague global markets, the company has positioned itself to take advantage of investment opportunities that it believes will yield strong returns for the company in the near future."

Use of non-GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles) financial measures

This news release contains references to net asset value per share (NAV), which is a non-GAAP financial measure. NAV is calculated as the value of total assets less the value of total liabilities divided by the total number of common shares outstanding as at a specific date. The term NAV does not have any standardized meaning according to generally accepted accounting principles and therefore may not be comparable with similar measures presented by other companies. There is no comparable GAAP financial measure presented in ThreeD's consolidated financial statements and thus no applicable quantitative reconciliation for such non-GAAP financial measure. The company believes that the measure provides information useful to its shareholders in understanding its performance and may assist in the evaluation of the company's business relative to that of its peers.
