The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Horizons NASDAQ-100 Index ETF has changed its name to Global X Nasdaq-100 Index Corporate Class ETF, effective at the open on May 1, 2024. According to the TSX, the shares of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) will continue trading under the symbols HXQ (Canadian-dollar shares) and HXQ.U (U.S.-dollar shares). The new Cusip number for both the Canadian-dollar shares and the U.S.-dollar shares is 37963X 10 4.
The TSX reports that Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc., the manager of the ETF, will be rebranded as Global X Investments Canada Inc., effective at the open on May 1, 2024, and as a result, the name and Cusip number of the ETF will be changed. The TSX has issued separate bulletins regarding the name changes to other ETFs of the manager.
