The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Hut 8 Mining Corp. has rolled back its shares on a one-new-for-five-old basis and changed its name to Hut 8 Corp., effective at the open on Dec. 4, 2023. According to the TSX, the company will continue trading under the symbol HUT. The new Cusip number is 44812J 10 4.

The TSX notes that no fractional shares will be issued pursuant to the rollback. The total number of shares a shareholder is entitled to receive will be rounded down to the nearest whole number of shares without any compensation in lieu of such fractional interest. The shares will begin trading on a postconsolidated basis on the Nasdaq Stock Market LLC at the open on Dec. 4, 2023.

According to the TSX, the company has continued its jurisdiction of incorporation from the laws of British Columbia to the laws of the State of Delaware as a result of a plan of arrangement, effective Nov. 30, 2023. The new transfer agent and registrar is Computershare Trust Company N.A. in Canton, Mass., Jersey City, N.J., and Louisville, Kent. The new co-transfer agent and registrar is Computershare Investor Services Inc. in Toronto, Ont., and Vancouver, B.C.
