The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Horizons Marijuana Life Sciences Index ETF has changed its name to Global X Marijuana Life Sciences Index ETF, effective at the open on May 1, 2024. According to the TSX, the Class A units of the exchange-traded fund (ETF) will continue trading under the symbols HMMJ (Canadian-dollar units) and HMMJ.U (U.S.-dollar units). The new Cusip number for both the Canadian-dollar units and the U.S.-dollar units is 37962W 10 7.

The TSX reports that Horizons ETFs Management (Canada) Inc., the manager of the ETF, will be rebranded as Global X Investments Canada Inc., effective at the open on May 1, 2024, and as a result, the name and Cusip number of the ETF will be changed. The TSX has issued separate bulletins regarding the name changes to other ETFs of the manager.
