GATEKEEPER ANNOUNCES 360 SURROUND VISION, LIVE VIEW WIRELESS SUBSCRIPTIONS CONTRACT WITH A PRIVATE SCHOOL IN FLORIDA

Gatekeeper Systems Inc. has signed a full-fleet school bus video and subscription contract for a private school in Florida.

Under the contract, the school bus fleet will be equipped with 360 Surround Vision, mobile data collectors, interior video and Live View Wireless video management subscriptions. The private school is a new customer to the company.

Doug Dyment, Gatekeeper's president and chief executive officer, commented: "Private schools are also now embracing the use of video on their school buses. This contract is valued at approximately $9,200 (U.S.) ($12,800 (Canadian)) per bus plus monthly subscriptions, which demonstrates the importance that video now plays in school bus safety. Although the size of a bus fleet in a private school is smaller, in this case 15 buses, there are approximately 3,000 private schools in Florida alone. There is growth in the number of private schools, and their budgets also differ from that of public schools. We are therefore now working to elevate awareness of our suite of school bus video offerings in the private school sector."

360 Surround Vision provides a surround view of the school bus, and is automatically activated when the bus is reversing or making side turns. The surround view can also be displayed on a specialized rear-view-mirror system, allowing drivers to monitor school children all around the bus.

Live View Wireless provides real-time access to all video and data on the mobile data collector while the school bus is on the road. School districts can optimize fleet operations and respond to incidents immediately using precise map locations of the entire bus fleet and other vehicle data such as bus speed and erratic driving behaviour.
