GREENBRIAR ANNOUNCES EFFECTIVE DATE OF NAME CHANGE AND STOCK OPTION GRANT

Effective today, Greenbriar Sustainable Living Inc.'s name has changed to Greenbriar Sustainable Living Inc. to better reflect the company's business. The common shares of the company will continue to trade under the stock symbol GRB on the TSX Venture Exchange and GEBRF on the U.S. OTC. There is no consolidation or change in the share capital. In connection with the name change, the new Cusip 393652102 and ISIN CA3936521028 have been assigned to the common shares of the company.

In addition, the company announces that it has granted an aggregate of 1.2 million incentive stock options to certain directors and officers of the company pursuant to the company's previously approved stock option plan. The options are exercisable at a price of $1.10 per share for a period of five years.
