GreenPower Motor Company Inc. (TSX VENTURE: GPV) ("GreenPower" or the "Company"), announced today the addition of David Richardson to the management-proposed slate of nominee directors for the Company's forthcoming annual general and special meeting of shareholders to be held on March 25, 2015.

• Director of James Richardson & Sons, Limited and its subsidiary Richardson International Limited
• Over 20 years of capital markets experience
• Has served on a number of Boards including Ducks Unlimited Canada and the Asia Pacific Foundation of which he was a founding member.
