GOLDMINING RELEASES INAUGURAL SUSTAINABILITY REPORT

Goldmining Inc. has published its inaugural sustainability report. This report presents the company's approach and performance on sustainability initiatives and outlines sustainability strategy and goals for the future.

2022 sustainability report highlights:

  • The company's strong record in health and safety is exemplified by its achievement of zero medical aid injuries, lost-time injuries or fatalities.
  • The company provided 250 hours of health, safety and emergency response training to its employees.
  • Goldmining's focus on recycling water used at active exploration sites achieved a recycling rate of 99 per cent.
  • Goldmining achieved 100-per-cent reclamation of land affected by active drill campaigns and the planting of 500 local species trees at its Sao Jorge project in Brazil.
  • The company's commitment to local stakeholders with 100 per cent of site staff hired in-country, including 68 per cent from surrounding communities.
  • The company's long-standing focus on diversity and inclusion with 43 per cent of executives and senior management being female and 50 per cent ethnically diverse representation on the company's board of directors.
