The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Nov. 7, edition that BMO Capital analyst Thanos Moschopoulos continues to rate CGI "outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Moschopoulos's share target soared $8 to $155. Analysts on average target the Class B shares at $149.14. Mr. Moschopoulos says in a note: "We remain 'outperform' on CGI and have raised our target price ahead of Q4/23 results, which we believe will demonstrate a deceleration in organic growth, reasonable bookings (helped by seasonality) and consistent EPS execution. While the demand backdrop seems to be getting tougher with respect to discretionary IT spend, we believe CGI's revenue mix will provide it with some relative resilience, allowing it to continue driving EPS growth in FY2024." The Globe reported on July 28 and Oct. 27 that Desjardins analyst Jerome Dubreuil had maintained his "buy" call on CGI. The shares could then be had for $130.28 and $129.60. The Globe reported on Sept. 27 that RBC Capital Markets analyst Paul Treiber rated CGI "buy" when it could be had for $134.38.
