The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Jan. 16, edition that Citi analyst Bryan Burgmeier has reiterated his "buy" recommendation for GFL Environmental. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Burgmeier gave his share target a $2 trim to $56 (all figures U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $55.63. Mr. Burgmeier says in a note: "We are 'buy' rated on GFL as the current valuation does not reflect medium-term growth potential and a pure-play solid waste portfolio. We forecast 9-per-cent 24- 27 EBITDA CAGR [compound annual growth rate] from a positive net price spread, EPR contracts and internal investments. With only mid-single-digits market share and a cleaner balance sheet, GFL is positioned to grow revenue low single digits per annum. from roll-up acquisitions for the next decade, in our view." The Globe reported on Nov. 11 that Mr. Burgmeier had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for GFL Environmental. The shares could then be had for $43.51.
