Gabriel Resources Ltd. previously announced that the arbitral tribunal in its World Bank International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) claim against Romania must issue its final decision to the parties on or before March 12, 2024.

Gabriel has noted the recent increase in its share price and the volume of shares traded. Gabriel is not aware of any decision by the tribunal or the timing thereof and awaits further communication from ICSID in this regard. Once an award is received, Gabriel will notify the market without delay.

Despite the company's fulfilment of its legal obligations and its development of the Rosia Montana project as a high-quality, sustainable and environmentally responsible mining project, using best available techniques, Romania has unlawfully blocked and prevented implementation of the Rosia Montana project without due process and without compensation. Accordingly, the company's current core focus is the ICSID arbitration.
