FIERA CAPITAL ANNOUNCES DECEMBER 31, 2023, PRELIMINARY ASSETS UNDER MANAGEMENT AND Q4 2023 FINANCIAL RESULTS DATE

Fiera Capital Corp. has released its preliminary estimate of assets under management (AUM) of approximately $161.7-billion as at Dec. 31, 2023, compared with $155.3-billion as at Sept. 30, 2023.

AUM increased 4.1 per cent to $161.7-billion in the quarter and was up 2.0 per cent year over year due to strong equity and fixed income market performance in the last quarter of 2023. Public markets, excluding AUM subadvised by PineStone, was the greatest contributor to growth increasing 6.9 per cent in the quarter and 7.6 per cent in 2023. AUM subadvised by PineStone was essentially flat on the quarter and down $4.0-billion on the year due to outflows, the largest relating to financial intermediaries' mandates. Private markets AUM was up 1.3 per cent on the year after accounting for income distributions and return of capital totalling close to $1.0-billion in 2023.
