FIRST QUANTUM ANNOUNCES REDEMPTION OF 2027 NOTES

First Quantum Minerals Ltd. has completed the previously announced redemption in full of its 6.875 per cent senior notes due 2027 (Rule 144A: ISIN US335934AT24; Cusip 335934 AT2; Reg S: ISIN USC3535CAM04; Cusip C3535C AM0) in an aggregate of $41,878,000 outstanding principal amount. (Amounts are in U.S. dollars, except where noted otherwise.)

The company redeemed the 2027 notes at a redemption price equal to $1,003.79 per $1,000 principal amount of notes, plus accrued and unpaid interest of $1,087,644.72 in respect of the notes, using the proceeds from its previously announced offering of $1-billion aggregate principal amount of 7.250 per cent senior notes due 2034.
