The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Feb. 7, edition that TD Cowen analyst Steven Green has reaffirmed his "hold" recommendation for Eldorado Gold. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Green gave his share target a $1 trim to $16 (all figures U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $20.23. Mr. Green says in a note: "Eldorado has a growing production base with Kisladag and Lamaque as the cornerstone assets. We believe these are attractive assets for their relatively low costs and long mine lives. The ongoing construction of Skouries presents the largest uncertainty for Eldorado, given the project's significant capex as well as the company's, at times, challenging operating history in Greece." The Globe reported on Oct. 31, 2023, Mr. Green was keeping his "hold" call on Eldorado intact. The shares were then worth $10.50. The Globe reported on Jan. 17, 2025, that National Bank analyst Mike Parkin continued to rate Eldorado Gold "outperform." The shares were then going for $14.51.
