The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Oct. 31, edition that TD Securities analyst Steven Green is keeping his "hold" call on Eldorado intact. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Green boosted his share target by $1 (U.S.) to $12 (U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $17.55 (Canadian). Mr. Green says in a note: "Following a challenging H1, Q3 showed continued operational improvements at Kisladag, which positions the company for a strong Q4. In addition, operating costs, aided by lower energy costs in Europe, were below expectations, with cost guidance lowered. Our NAV has increased to $12.84 (from $12.42) largely due to lower cost estimates." The Globe reported on April 18 that CIBC World Market analysts rated Eldorado Gold "outperformer." It was then worth $11.31 (U.S.). The Globe reported on June 7 that Credit Suisse analyst Fahad Tariq had reaffirmed his "underperform" recommendation for Eldorado Gold. The shares could then be had for $13.02 (Canadian). The Globe reported on Oct. 12 that Stifel analyst Ingrid Rico had elevated her recommendation for Eldorado Gold to "buy" from "hold." The shares were then going for $9.33 (U.S.).
