The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, Jan. 17, edition that National Bank Financial analyst Cameron Doerksen has reaffirmed his "outperform" call and $62 share target for Exchange Income. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that analysts on average target the shares at $63.45. Mr. Doerksen says in a note: "Exchange Income will see growth through 2024 and into 2025 that is underpinned by new contract wins including the B.C. and Manitoba medevac contracts (ramping through 2024), new surveillance activity, a new contract at PAL Airlines to support Air Canada (ramped in early 2024), as well as expected organic growth in the windows businesses over the next two years supported by growing demand for new housing. We therefore have confidence that the company can grow EBITDA from a forecasted $553-million in 2023 to the management guidance range of $600-million to $635-million with potential upside should the company consummate additional acquisitions." The Globe reported on Nov. 2 that TD rated Exchange Income "buy." It was then worth $42.96. The Globe reported on Nov. 17 that RBC's James McGarragle had kept his "outperform" recommendation for Exchange Income intact when it was worth $45.76.
