The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, June 7, edition that Raymond James analyst Steve Hansen has reaffirmed his "strong buy" recommendation for Exchange Income. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Hansen hiked his share target ahead by $2 to $70. Analysts on average target the shares at $66.59. Mr. Hansen sees Exchange Income's latest contract win to provide fixed-wing medevac coverage to British Columbia as "a marquee opportunity, one that not only bolsters the firm's scale and competitive position, but also layers in another high-quality, predictable cash flow stream for a decade (and likely much longer)." On Monday, the company announced its subsidiary, Carson Air, has been awarded a long-term contract by B.C. to provide fixed wing medevac coverage. Mr. Hansen says in a note: "While the contract requires $200-million in capital to build out the requisite fleet and ground infrastructure, we see this investment as staged over 18 months, making it easily digestible relative to EIF's $1-billion-plus in liquidity (no need for equity). Dovetailing on a string of positive developments in recent months, our conviction in the Exchange Income story only continues to grow."
