The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Aug. 8, edition that RBC Capital analyst Keith Mackey has reiterated his "outperform" recommendation for Enerflex. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Mackey boosted his share target by $1 (U.S.) to $13 (U.S.). Analysts on average target the shares at $15.46 (Canadian). Mr. Mackey says in a note: "Enerflex reported a solid quarter, with EBITDA, EPS and engineered systems bookings well ahead of our expectations. We remain bullish on Enerflex shares given exposure to positive macro trends, expanding ROCE/financial metrics, and broadened capital allocation approach. ... Enerflex is on RBC's Global Energy Best Ideas list." The Globe reported on Jan. 17 that analysts at Acumen Capital had named Enerflex one of their "Dark Horse" stock picks for 2024. The Acumen analysts rated Enerflex "buy." The shares could then be had for $6.41 (Canadian). The Globe reported on April 18 that Mr. Mackey continued to rate Enerflex "outperform." It was then worth $8.89 (Canadian). The Globe reported on April 22 that National Bank Financial analyst Dan Payne had reaffirmed his "sector perform" call on Enerflex. It was then worth $8.93 (Canadian).
