Brien Lundin, in the February, 2016, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says hold Endeavour Silver Corp., recently $1.50. Mr. Lundin said buy 10 times from August, 2005, to December, 2014, at prices ranging from $1.62 to $9.43. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the 10 buys, the $10,000 position is now worth $4,509. Endeavour has three operating mines in Mexico. In 2015, they produced 11.4 million ounces of silver equivalent, comprising 7.18 million ounces of silver and 59,990 ounces of gold. That total includes 2.8 million ounces of silver equivalent produced in the fourth quarter. During this quarter, gold production rose by 2 per cent to 15,433 ounces, but silver production fell by 14 per cent to 1.73 million ounces. Mr. Lundin says this was to be expected given the current state of the market for gold and silver. What he did not expect was the recent plunge in Endeavour's share price. The plunge could reflect sales related to the at-the-market offering announced by Endeavour in November, or it could reflect other problems; Mr. Lundin is not sure. He concludes that "until we see some stabilization, we'll mark the stock as a hold."
