Ecolomondo ships fourth load of recovered carbon black

2025-08-21 19:56 ET - News Release

Mr. J.F. Labbe reports

ECOLOMONDO KEEPS DELIVERING ITS SUSTAINABLE RCB

Ecolomondo Corp. has shipped a fourth truckload of its recovered carbon black produced at its Hawkesbury thermal decomposition technology facility, with a fifth purchase order in hand to be shipped shortly to its major offtake customer. In addition, a second major offtake customer has recently approved Ecolomondo's rCB for its production.

The company began to process the rCB produced at the Hawkesbury TDP facility over the recent weeks after it completed the installation and commissioning of its new milling equipment and rCB processing line. A major offtake customer tested the quality of the rCB and sent an initial purchase order, as announced by the company on July 16, 2025, and, since then, the company has received five purchase orders, of which four have been delivered, and the fifth truckload will be delivered in the coming days.

In addition, another major offtake customer based in the United States approved the quality of the company's rCB produced at the Hawkesbury TDP facility, and the company expects that the customer should soon begin to place bulk purchase orders of rCB.

The company believes that these repeat orders by a major rCB offtake customer and the approval of the quality by another major customer in the U.S. are validation of the quality of rCB currently produced at the company's Hawkesbury TDP facility.

"Offtake customers are steadily adopting the rCB on a global scale and are now integrating it into their regular production to produce new sustainable products. It is satisfying to see that scrap tires are being processed to produce reusable end products to manufacture other consumable products," said J.F. Labbe, interim chief executive officer of the company. Once fully operational, the Hawkesbury TDP facility is expected to process approximately one million scrap tires per year mostly composed of car, SUV and truck tires resulting in the production of approximately 4,000 metric tonnes of recovered carbon black, 5,000 MT of pyrolysis oil, 2,000 MT of steel and 1,200 MT of process gas.
