Ecolomondo performs additional test at Hawkesbury

2023-05-03 11:15 ET - News Release

Mr. Eliot Sorella reports

ECOLOMONDO ANNOUNCES THAT IT PERFORMED ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL BATCH

Ecolomondo Corp. performed another successful test at its new Hawkesbury TDP (thermal decomposition process) facility on April 27, 2023.

The technical teams of Ecolomondo performed a test in reactor 1 with 4,000-pound payloads to validate and examine the improvements that they put in place after the initial batches. The results are exciting as it is the best batch ever processed by Ecolomondo. The thermal decomposition was processed within five hours, from beginning to the end of reactor cooling, much lower than the allotted six hours per production cycle, confirming once again the possibility of improved production efficiency in the future.

The technical teams observed that reactor burners worked perfectly, as well as evacuating compressors and general efficiency of all thermal apparatus. The company has now performed successful batches using both reactors 1 and 2, setting the stage for increased reactor payloads going forward.

This is another step inching the Hawkesbury plant closer to production ramp-up. The company is planning to perform batches of 8,000 lb in both reactors in the next several weeks, gradually increasing reactor payloads to 15,000 lb per batch.

While management is very optimistic of its schedule, it remains cautious that the ramp-up testing may bring to light certain adjustments that may need to be corrected from time to time, which are commonly inherent to this type of business.
