The Investment Reporter, in its May 5, 2023, issue, says buy Dollarama Inc., recently $82.96. The Reporter said buy four times from July 29, 2011, to June 3, 2022, at prices ranging from $32.78 to $67.98. Assuming an investment of $1,000 for each of the four buys, the $4,000 position would now be worth $6,553. Dollarama has over 1,400 retail locations across Canada that specialize in low-price merchandise. When Dollarama released its 2022 results at the end of March, it increased its dividend from 22 cents to 28 cents a share, easily exceeding inflation. The new dividend is equal to a still-modest yield of 0.3 per cent. The Reporter notes that Dollarama offers consumers value in these hard times. The Reporter says buy Dollarama, primarily for growth.
