Arianne Phosphate appoints Ayotte as CFO

2022-10-03 12:32 ET - News Release

Mr. Jeffrey Beck reports

ARIANNE PHOSPHATE APPOINTS GENEVIEVE AYOTTE AS CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Genevieve Ayotte will be joining Arianne Phosphate Inc. as its chief financial officer, replacing Pier-Elise Hebert-Tremblay.

Ms. Ayotte is a member of the Certified Professional Accountants of Quebec and graduated from HEC Montreal with a bachelor in business management and a DESS in public accounting (2008). Outside of Ms. Ayotte's accounting profession, she also serves as president of Women in Mining -- Montreal. Since 2008, Ms. Ayotte developed extensive mining knowledge, specifically in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC). Among the many mining clients, she worked with, Ms. Ayotte had been an important member of the team working on the Arianne account from 2016 to 2021, serving, most recently, as audit director. "Genevieve is an experienced professional with an intimate knowledge of Arianne," said Dominique Bouchard, executive chairman of Arianne Phosphate. "She will be an asset as we continue our discussions with potential partners to participate in bringing the Lac a Paul project into production."

"Arianne would like to thank Pier-Elise for her many years of dedicated service, most recently as our CFO. We wish her success in her new endeavours," said Jeffrey Beck, chief executive officer of Arianne Phosphate.

In conjunction with Ms. Ayotte joining the company, Arianne announces a grant of 200,000 stock options. Each option entitles the holder to purchase one common share of the company until Sept. 30, 2032, at a price of 39.5 cents per share, this being the closing price of the company's shares on the trading day preceding the date of the grant. The options are subject to a vesting period and are also subject to regulatory approval.
