Jay Taylor, in the June 17, 2019, edition of Gold, Energy & Tech Stocks, says buy Arianne Phosphate Inc., recently 51 cents. He previously said buy five times from Jan. 17, 2013, to July 17, 2018, at prices ranging from 48.5 cents to $1.24. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the five buys, the $5,000 position is now worth $3,356. Mr. Taylor has kept the faith for years in Arianne's Lac a Paul phosphate project in Quebec. Development has been sluggish, even though Arianne completed a feasibility study in 2013, has all of its permits and infrastructure in place, and essentially has a shovel-ready project with an estimated net present value of $1.9-billion (U.S.). This "wonderful progress" has gone completely ignored by the market, complains Mr. Taylor. Yet he thinks investors' patience is about to pay off. This month, Arianne signed a non-binding agreement with China Machinery Industry Construction Group (a Chinese state-owned firm) to provide financing for Lac a Paul. Mr. Taylor acknowledges that there is no guarantee of a binding deal, and if one is reached, Arianne will have to give up a sizable chunk of Lac a Paul in exchange. This does not bother Mr. Taylor, who is "very happy" with this turn of events. Buy.
