The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that RBC analyst Paul Treiber has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Constellation Software. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Treiber's share target shot ahead by $100 to $3,400. Analysts on average target the shares at $3,125.71. Mr. Treiber says in a note: "Constellation reported a solid quarter, with adjusted EBITDA up 39 per cent year-over-year and normalized adjusted EPS up 56 per cent year-over-year, both above consensus Constellation saw multiple operational improvements in the quarter, including better organic growth, higher core margins, and improvement at Altera. Even though Q3 acquired revenue was lighter than expected, the shortfall reflects timing and lumpiness, in our view; we believe Constellation's M&A model is scaling, as shown by record YTD capital deployed on acquisitions." The Globe reported on April 4 that Mr. Treiber had reiterated his "outperform" call. In the item he said, "Constellation's valuation appears attractive." The shares were then worth $2,5778.47. The Globe reported on May 17 and June 1 that Mr. Treiber continued to rate Constellation "outperform." The shares could then be had for $2,614.91 and $2,740.02.
