The Globe and Mail reports in its Tuesday, Aug. 15, edition that BMO Capital analyst Thanos Moschopoulos is sticking with his "outperform" recommendation for Constellation Software. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Moschopoulos's share target leaped to $3,150 from $2,950. Analysts on average target the shares at $3,164.96. Mr. Moschopoulos says in a note: "We remain 'outperform' on Constellation and have raised our target price following Q2/23 results, which were slightly ahead of consensus on both revenue and EBITDA with solid M&A and organic growth during the quarter. We've modestly raised our estimates. The key takeaway from the quarter, in our view, is that Constellation continues to achieve a robust level of year-over-year EBITDA growth, despite its growing size, even excluding the spinoffs. We believe the stock's valuation remains attractive relative to our forecasts for growth." The Globe reported on April 24 and July 25 that National Bank Financial analysts John Shao and Richard Tse rated Constellation Software "outperform." The shares were then going for $2,644.63 and $2,815.65.
