The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, May 17, edition that RBC Capital Markets analyst Paul Treiber continues to rate Constellation Software "outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Treiber bumped his share target ahead by $100 to $3,100. Analysts on average target the shares at $2,925.74. Mr. Treiber says in a note: "Constellation reported mixed Q1 results. Organic growth and capital deployed on acquisitions were solid. However, margins were light, partially due to Altera. Altera differs from Constellation's typical profile for acquisitions; despite lower margins, we believe Altera is tracking to meet Constellation's hurdle rate. Therefore, we believe the near-term noise regarding Altera shouldn't overshadow Constellation's solid M&A and organic growth." The Globe reported on April 4 that Mr. Treiber had reiterated his "outperform" recommendation. In the item he said, "Constellation's valuation appears attractive." The shares could then be had for $2,5778.47. The Globe reported on April 24 that National Bank Financial analysts Richard Tse and John Shao rated Constellation "outperform." The shares could then be had for 2,644.63.
