The Globe and Mail reports in its Thursday edition that analysts are giving good grades to Copperleaf Technologies' latest quarterly results. The Globe's Darcy Keith writes that CIBC raised its share target to $7 from $5 and upgraded its rating to "neutral" from "underperformer," while RBC raised its share to target $8 from $7. Copperleaf reported annual recurring revenue growth of 30 per cent year over year in the fourth quarter, up from 26 per cent in the third quarter. That was the highest in two years. Revenue was slightly above consensus estimates, while the adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization loss came in much better than the Street expected. Copperleaf is seeing "accelerating revenue growth and anticipates progress toward profitability," says RBC's Paul Treiber. He says RBC is maintaining an "outperform" recommendation, "as we believe Copperleaf represents an attractive growth story trading at a discounted valuation." The Globe reported on March 25 that RBC reaffirmed its "outperform" rating for Copperleaf when it was worth $5. The Globe reported on Aug. 4 that National Bank had upgraded Copperleaf to "outperform" from "sector perform." It was then worth $6.02.
