The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, March 1, edition that RBC Capital analyst Greg Pardy is sticking with his "outperform" recommendation for Canadian Natural Resources. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Pardy jacked his share target up by $6 to $100. Analysts on average target the shares at $95.61. Mr. Pardy says in a note: "Our bullish stance towards Canadian Natural Resources reflects its strong leadership, shareholder alignment, abundant free cash flow generation, best-in-class operating performance and now 100-per-cent shareholder returns. We are maintaining an 'outperform' recommendation on Canadian Natural and boosting our one-year price target by $6 (6 per cent) to $100 per share amid modest target multiple expansion. Canadian Natural is our favorite senior producer and on both our Global Energy Best Ideas and Top 30 Global Ideas lists." The Globe reported on Jan. 12 that Mr. Pardy reaffirmed Canadian Natural as his "favourite senior producer." In the item he reiterated his "outperform" recommendation for Canadian Natural. The shares could then be had for $87.43.
