CANASIL RESOURCES INC. ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF ANNUAL GENERAL AND SPECIAL MEETING

Canasil Resources Inc. has released the voting results from its annual general and special meeting of shareholders held on July 21, 2026, in Vancouver, B.C. A total of 34,549,479 shares were represented at the meeting, representing 22.18 per cent of the company's issued and outstanding common shares. Shareholders voted in favour of all matters brought before the meeting, including the number of directors, the election of management nominees as directors, appointment of auditor for the ensuing year, confirmation of the company's stock option plan and the change of the company's name to Canadian Silver Corp.

Following approval of the company name change by the shareholders, the company will be initiating the administrative procedure with the TSX Venture Exchange to implement the change of name to Canadian Silver Corp. The company does not anticipate a change in its trading symbol. The name change does not affect the rights of shareholders, and there is no consolidation or change in the company's share capital associated with the name change.
