CANASIL RESOURCES INC. PROPOSES NAME CHANGE TO 'CANADIAN SILVER CORP.'

Canasil Resources Inc. is proposing to change its name to Canadian Silver Corp., subject to the applicable regulatory approvals. This matter will be presented to the shareholders of the company as a special resolution at the company's 2026 annual general and special meeting of shareholders (AGSM) planned for July 21, 2026, to obtain shareholder approval for the name change. Details are included in the notice and information circular for the AGSM, which were mailed to shareholders on June 23, 2026.

The proposed name change is intended to incorporate the word "silver" in the company's name to emphasize the company's silver exploration properties in Durango and Zacatecas states, Mexico, and British Columbia, Canada. Many silver-focused exploration companies have found this to be beneficial. The name "Canadian Silver Corp." is available and has been reserved by the company. The company does not anticipate any change in its trading symbol and may continue using the short form "Canasil" for reference even after the name change. The name change does not affect the rights of shareholders, and there is no consolidation or change in the company's share capital associated with the name change.
