The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, Sept. 18, edition that TD Cowen analyst Tim James has reiterated his "buy" call on Cargojet. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. James continues to target the shares at $128. Analysts on average target the shares at $121.85. Mr. James included Equinox Gold on the firm's "Canada Best Ideas" list, highlighting the ramp-up of Canadian flagship assets and a strong North American growth portfolio. Mr. James says in a note: "We believe the drivers of past share price and valuation pressure are becoming less relevant and that the historically low valuation fails to reflect the business resiliency and earnings upside. We believe an eventual return to ACMI revenue growth, improved aircraft utilization and new ACMI/charter agreements could provide catalysts." The Globe reported on Nov. 22 that Mr. James had reiterated his "buy" call for Cargojet. The shares could then be had for $122.56. The Globe reported on Aug. 18 that Stifel analyst Daryl Young was holding on to his "buy" recommendation for Cargojet. The shares were then going for $88.78.
