The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday edition that RBC Capital Markets analysts Walter Spracklin continues to give Cargojet an "outperform" ranking. The Globe's David Leeder writes that Mr. Spracklin cut his share target back by $10 to $187 (still a Street-high target). Analysts on average target the shares at $144.33. Mr. Spracklin and RBC colleague James McGarragle say in a note: "Transportation and diversified industrial share prices largely underperformed in the quarter. ... Cargojet traded lower, down 3 per cent, better than most peers likely due to solid margin performance in Q2, which we believe sets the stage for solid operating leverage when macro conditions inflect." The Globe reported on June 14 that BMO Nesbitt Burns analyst Fadi Chamoun had reaffirmed his "market perform" recommendation for Cargojet when it could be had for $99.31. The Globe reported on July 14 that CIBC World Market analyst Kevin Chiang had reaffirmed his "outperform" call on Cargojet. It was then worth $94.17. The Globe reported on July 26 and Aug. 16 that National Bank Financial analyst Cameron Doerksen had reaffirmed his "sector perform" recommendation for Cargojet. The shares could then be had for $95.12 and $103.38.
