Canbanc Income Corp. has granted its shareholders the special right to retract their shares until 5 p.m. (Toronto time) on Monday, Aug. 17, 2015, according to the Toronto Stock Exchange. The TSX reports that at a July 10, 2015, special meeting, shareholders approved a resolution to eliminate Canbanc's Aug. 31, 2015, termination date. Shareholders also approved a special retraction right for those that do not want to retain their investment in Canbanc. Such shareholders have until the deadline to retract their shares. Shareholders that redeem their shares will receive a price per share equal to the net asset value per share as of Aug. 31, 2015.

Buyers of the shares on Aug. 13 and 14, 2015, that want to exercise the special retraction right must place their orders for settlement on the next business day in cash. Buyers on Aug. 17, 2015, that want to exercise the special retraction right must place their orders between 9:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. (Toronto time) for settlement on the same day in cash.
