The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday, May 9, edition that RBC Capital Markets analyst James McGarragle continues to rate Chorus Aviation "outperform." The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. McGarragle gave his share target a $2 boost to $27. Analysts on average target the shares at $27.54. Mr. McGarragle says in a note: "Q1 results came in strong, and we came away positive on the quarter given solid performance in Voyageur, buyback momentum, and our view that fleet refurbishments will likely lead to releasing of aircraft set to expire post 2026. Therefore, we are surprised the shares are trading flat today and see year-to-date weakness as unwarranted given Chorus Aviation has little to no tariff exposure. We see Chorus shares as a solid value opportunity (10-per-cent FCF yield on our 2026 estimates), with low debt (1.6 times) and potential upside from M&A, organic investments and aircraft sales." The Globe reported on April 5, 2024, that Mr. McGarragle assumed coverage on Chorus Aviation with an "outperform" recommendation. The shares could then be had for $14.28. The Globe reported on Feb. 1, 2025, that TD rated Chorus Aviation "buy." It was then worth $19.56.
