Banyan Gold closes 100% earn-in on AurMac

2025-09-18 21:26 ET - News Release

Ms. Tara Christie reports

BANYAN ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF ACCELERATED 100% EARN-IN AT THE AURMAC PROJECT, YUKON, CANADA

Banyan Gold Corp. has closed the 100-per-cent earn-in agreement on the AurMac project, previously announced on July 24, 2025, with PricewaterhouseCoopers Inc., the receiver and manager for Victoria Gold Corp. Banyan had originally signed the option agreements on the properties in 2017 and, by 2024, had earned 75 per cent. The option agreements were originally to be completed in late 2025 and 2026. Pursuant to the previously announced definitive agreement to accelerate the options, Banyan has now earned the remaining interests (additional 25 per cent) in the McQuesten and Aurex properties (which together comprise the core of the AurMac project).

"With this closing, the strict timeline to complete the PEA is removed. Banyan will now be able to incorporate the results of our strategically targeted 2025 drilling into a PEA for 2026," stated Tara Christie, president and chief executive officer." Banyan will now also upsize our 2025 drill program to over 40,000 metres."

AurMac hosts a gold resource of 2.274 million ounces (oz) of gold (Au) (112.5 million tonnes at 0.63 gram per tonne (g/t)) and an inferred mineral resource of 5,453,000 oz of Au (280.6 million tonnes at 0.60 g/t) (see table 1).

Upon closing of the transaction, Banyan now owns 100 per cent of the McQuesten and Aurex properties that contain the gold resource.
