The Globe and Mail reports in its Friday edition that CIBC analyst Krista Friesen has reaffirmed her "outperformer" recommendation for Boyd Group Services. The Globe's David Leeder writes in the Eye On Equities column that Ms. Friesen trimmed her share target to $2 from $306. Analysts on average target the shares at $323.57. Ms. Friesen says in a note: "As we head into Q1 reporting season, we expect many of the same themes that dominated Q4 earnings to be topical this quarter. For the suppliers, we believe the difference this time is that much of the bad news has been accounted for in their share prices, with the companies trading at historically low valuation on EV/EBITDA and P/B. ... [We have] raised our price target for AutoCanada." The Globe reported on April 26, 2022, and Nov. 15, 2023, that Ms. Friesen continued to rate Boyd Group "neutral." The shares could then be had for $159.78 and $250.17. The Globe reported on Dec. 20, 2023, that Ms. Friesen had boosted Boyd Group to "outperformer." It was then worth $272.21. The Globe reported on March 22, 2024, that Desjardins analyst Gary Ho had reaffirmed his "hold" call for Boyd Group. The shares could then be had for $287.17. Mr. Ho said the shares were "fairly valued."
