The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday edition that ATB Capital Markets analyst Chris Murray has reaffirmed his "outperform" recommendation for Boyd Group Services. The Globe's Darcy Keith writes in the Eye On Equities column that Mr. Murray has increased his share target for Boyd Group Services by $50 to $350 before the company's fourth quarter results on March 20. The increase is mainly due to updated estimates, primarily for foreign exchange fluctuations, with unchanged assumptions for same-store revenue growth and margins. Mr. Murray says in a note: "Shares have moved higher with the market, but valuations have also begun to normalize back toward preCOVID levels, with expectations firming for consistent margin performance driven by cost catch-up with insurance partners, leverage on scale, and internalization of new scanning and calibration services. ... We continue to see significant growth ahead for Boyd shares and would continue accumulating into the quarter." The Globe reported on March 1 that Desjardins continued to rate Boyd Group "hold." It was then worth $318.51. The Globe reported March 5 that Stifel analyst Daryl Young had reaffirmed his "buy" recommendation for Boyd Group when it was worth $310.
